What’s in each kit?
Single Ratinator Trap is 1 Ratinator. Home Defense Kit is 1 Ratinator + 4 Mouseinators. Property Defense Kit is 2 Ratinators + 4 Mouseinators. Each cage ships assembled with a printed instruction sheet. Bait is not included.
Where do I put them?
Set on the floor along the wall they travel. Home Defense: Ratinator on the main rat runway (garage/barn); Mouseinators in attic, pantry, kitchen baseboard, and shed. Property Defense adds a second Ratinator for the barn or outbuilding.
Will this hurt pets or kids?
No poison, no glue, no snap. These are live-catch metal cages. Set them where pets cannot drag them, and check regularly. Release or dispose away from the house — DIY home defense, not chemical bait.
What if it does not work?
Most empty cages are a pre-bait miss. Tie Ratinator doors open 1–2 days so rats feed freely, then set. If a trap arrives damaged or defective, we replace it free.
Can I use indoors and outdoors?
Yes. Both the Ratinator and Mouseinator are galvanized for indoor and outdoor runways — garages, barns, pantries, and sheds.
How long will they last?
These are reusable galvanized steel cages, not single-use plastic. Empty, reset, and keep using them season after season.
Will the Ratinator catch mice?
No. Mice are smaller and can often escape a Ratinator. For mice, use the Mouseinator. Home and Property Defense Kits include both cages so you can protect the whole property.
Will the Mouseinator catch rats?
No. Rats are usually too large for this trap. For rats, use the Ratinator. If you have both pests, take the Home Defense Kit or Property Defense Kit.
